I was discriminate, the staff lie & racist

Keith Pierson Toyota - I was discriminate, the staff lie & racist

Kevin was the salesperson who was acting as though he was helping me. The first lie he told me was that we only have one Toyota Corolla Cross.

The second lie was that both the manager and Kevin sold me the car for $27,000 when the car was actually $23,000. The manager claimed I was getting a lifetime warranty, but this too was a lie. I was offended when Kevin told me I stole the car I purchased in front of the manager, and the manager didn't say anything to him.

The staff are disrespectful to me. Don't go to the dealership on Youngerman Circle, Orange Park if you want to deal with honest staff!

Shady service advisor

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I never had an issue with this dealership until this month July 26 2024. I am a loyal customer and also trust what my Advisor recommended to do far as Servicing my toyota up to now.

You know how you have a gut feeling about being taken advantage of well this it that feeling and I was correct. I do not like dealing with money hungry Advisor who recommend stuff that was not needed then fix the paper work to read as if the customer requested the uneeded service. I took my vehicle in for its regular maintenance and always do when it's time. So an oil change went from around $76 -to a little over $800 due to things the Advisor recommend which a little over $400 was the labor charge.

So all good and dandy gave the ok to fix what he said I needed however I just felt like I was being rip off. The Advisor Thomas J Teta could not answer or address my concerns nor could produce the parts in which he states was bad. Next day I drove the vehicle and immediately my check engine light advised off track so I'm freaking out scared to drive to and from work; luckily I made it so called back to Keith Pierson 6501 Youngerman Circle Jacksonville

FL to speak back to Tom and was told he was out to lunch and they will have him return my call. Tom never called back I went back to Keith Pierson to drop off the vehicle and Tom immediately seen me and got up to walk towards the auto shop I stopped him in his track and yes I'm upset Angry asked why he don't return calls and as a loyal customer I do not appreciate his work ethic.

Tom showed little concerns and now started back paddling trying to say now it could be anything However when I picked up my car and before I paid the bill of $810.63 Tom assured me his guy did a thorough investigation and the vehicle needed what was advised and if anything was to happen after this then Keith would be held liable. Well today 07/30/24 4pm I have not received an update on my vehicle since dropping it off 07/29/24. I called to speak with Tom on my lunch break and again was told Tom was busy and they would have Tom call me back. Hours later still no call.

So I called back and asked to speak with Tom manager who is Doug Kennedy who was not available, I guess so I left a VM and asked for a call back and I'm still waiting. I do not know what's going on nowadays with customer service however I work to hard for my money and I do not have money to throw away.

Day 2 without my vehicle and paying for rides to work is not pretty. I'm so frustrated and I do not like being annoyed like my service don't matter...

This company LIES LIES LIES and LIES!!!!!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Was called by a Keith Pierson representative yesterday and she stated that the oil change and tire rotation was 39.95 with a coupon. I called today to change my appointment and inquired into the price for the oil change and they stated 69.95 for oil change and for tire rotation it was 24.95.

This has happened before with this car dealership and therfore I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Will never do any kind of business with this company ever again and I am going out of my way to leave horrible reviews everywhere I can as often as I can being a totally disabled retired Navy veteran and I plan on making every effort to make sure all my friends and relatives never do business with this company!!!1

Keith Pierson Toyota - 2 Unauthorized Credit Check Inquiries

Please be aware!! 1/6/2023 I went to Keith Pearson to get my 2019 Toyota Highlighter Serviced.

While I was there, I decided to browse the New Cars in the showroom and was assisted by Sales Associate Doc Swapsy.I was ONLY BROWSING. He went to get the keys to the TOYOTA RAV 4 for a test DRIVE. I NEVER filled out a Credit Application. On February 6th.

I received a letter from Equifax stating I had a hard Credit Inquiry on my Credit Report from Keith Pearson. I went to Keith Pearson to make a complaint to the Manager.

They have been unable to produce anything that states that I gave them permission to run my credit.

They also did another hard inquiry my credit January 30th.

I was told by sales manager, Joshua Steward there was nothing they could do for me, except sell me a car

Please Be Aware of Keith Pearson and Protect your Credit and also Prevent any unauthorized Credit Inquiries. I have had 2 UNAUTHORIZED CREDIT INQUIRIES WITHIN 30 Days!!!

I was in Keith Pearson Service Department on Sunday July 3, 2022.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

The Service man explained things to me about my car I didn't even know. I thought that every time I came in it was for an Oil change.

The Service man explain to me that that was not so. It was other areas of the car that needed servicing. He explained that at 5000 the Maintained Light will come on and that an oil change is only due every 10 thousand miles. That was very helpful to me.

This had been my third time in for service and no one had bothered to tell me. He cared enough about the dealership he worked for to let the customer know about their car and to let them know that when they decided to buy another car they will come to Keith Pearson.

Charged too much

I leased a car through the dealership and a year before my lease ended I noticed the buy out option on the lease web cite and decided to purchase the car. This was the first time and I made a mistake to trust the sales person.

And signed the papers. I was charged fees that if I purchased the vehicle from the lease company I would have none , and they are refusing to help me.

Trying to buy a new Tundra. Went to Keith Pearson today and they marked a 53,000 dollar truck up 30,000 dollars.

I couldn't believe it.

We have been to other dealerships and although the deals aren't as good nobody but Pearson Toyota has tried to ripoff their customers. I will never buy a vehicle from them...ever.

Horrible experience

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

The funny thing is the signs all over the showroom about the 5 star experience. This was the most horrible car buying experience imaginable.

My 78 year old mother was taken advantage of, treated poorly and lost sleep over this - all for a stinkin used car!

The place is shameful. As a business owner, I would make some kind of compensation if a customer was this unhappy, but they don't care at all.

on Sept 02 I went in keith pierson Toyota to have an oil change I was met by a sevice writer I ask questions about getting an oil change the writer started having attitude right form the start when I ask about discounts he inform me that's the price take it or leave it after the oil change was completed I left a few weeks later I saw a sticker on my 2020 Toyota Tacoma sr5 it said Toyota guard I called the dealership I bought the truck from gave them my name and vin number and was inform that I should have not been required to pay for the oil change because all maintenance is covered by Toyota for the first two years of ownership I call keith Pierson Toyota service department and spoke to the sevice manager Mr. Johnathan he looked up in information and agreed I should not have payed for the oil change sevice but at no time during our conversation did he offer to refund my money so I called Toyota corporation in deer field Florida and left my phone number and still have not heard back from them I and my family have been buying Toyota vehicles since 1969 we have always taking pride in the ownership of the Toyota brand but I see it does not exist any more so in my family our next vehicle will be another manufacturer thanks Toyota for not standing by a long loyal customer

Complaint!!!

I am appalled at the unprofessionalism Kieth Pierson displays with his employees. He uses his position to speak politics and to bash black people.

He should not be in a position of power! I am filing this complaint because this has to stop! Someone needs to look into his professional practices. He does not have the proper skills or any leadership qualities, and he certainly should NOT have a position of authority over anyone!

He brings his personal opinions and feelings into staff meetings without consideration of anyone's feelings. Mr. Pierson curses his employees out and embarrasses them in front of their peers. No one wants to say anything for fear of retaliatory termination!

The Keith Pierson on TV is not the same Keith Pierson his employees experience! His behavior is very offensive!!!!

My 86 yr old domestic partner went there today 1/27/20 in her 2010 Avalon for an oil change. She is a very trusting Grandmotherly person who lets people take advantage of her.No one tried to take the time to explain what she was purchasing. When she left the dealership she had spent over $386 for what she thought was an oil change, the sold her everything but the kitchen sink. When she got home and I tried to decipher the invoice,it is written in such a way to totally confuse the average person.I just regret that I was not with her.All I can say ladies pls ask questions and remember you can always get a 2nd opinion.

Ripped Off at Keith Pierson Toyota

Military Veterans please stay away from Keith Pierson Toyota. He won't give you the time of day if you have an issue.

He instructs his staff to not even let you meet or talk with him. Coward.

Original review Aug 29, 2019
I once thought that Keith Pierson Toyota was a dealership that cared about their customers. If it weren't the truth I wouldn't have purchased 3 vehicles there.

My last purchase this past May of 2019 has changed my mind so much so... that I refuse to bring my vehicle there for maintenance because I've lost all trust in their ability to provide customer service. It all started during my last vehicle purchase with 2 sales people...one named Victor Das, and their lead salesman Eddy Miralles. We made a deal of $700.00 per month for 72 months on a 2019 Tundra.

After the verbal deal was made I sat down with the finance guy Lucius to seal the deal I thought we had made. I decided to add the Platinum maintenance package which Lucius informed would add another $31.00 per month to my payment, and I was fine with that. After an hour or so of signing all the paperwork I left with my new truck. A couple of weeks later I realized my loan was a 78 month loan instead of the 72 month loan that we had verbally agreed to.

Not once was it brought to my attention that it had changed from 72 months to 78 months. That’s a difference of $4,386.00 when you add 6 more months at $731.00. I brought my concern up the chain from JC the finance manager, to Johnathan McDowell the Assistant General Manager, and finally Anderson Premadas the General Sales Manager. When I asked to speak with Keith Pierson himself...I was told "that wasn't going to happen".

It seemed that they could care less and basically treated me like a "sucker". You think you've got a proper deal with a customer friendly dealership and don't realize until hindsight that you should've brought a lawyer to read line by line through all of the paperwork they put in front of you. To make matters worse, Toyota has had a $500.00 Military rebate available through September 30th 2019 when you purchase a new vehicle and if you're active duty, reserves, or retired military and can prove via DD-214 or military ID. Both of the sales people I dealt with (Victor and Das Eddy Miralles) knew I was a retired Navy veteran yet neither of them mentioned the rebate to me and I didn't find out about it until recently while doing research about my issue.

When I brought it up to the attention of the Keith Pierson dealership to see about getting my rebate they told me it was too late and would have had to be been done when the deal was made. While waiting to talk to the General Manager the day this happened, I asked 2 sales people on the floor what they knew about the $500 Military rebate and neither of them knew anything about it and I noticed the dealership had no signs on display advertising the rebate. When I asked the general manager Anderson Premadas why the sales people didn’t know about the rebate and why they didn’t advertise the rebate, he stated that they don't want to bring it up to customers because some veterans might not meet all the guidelines and they don't want to get a veteran's hopes up in case they don't meet the criteria of the rebate. I personally think Veterans are tougher than that and is a poor excuse on their part.

This recent experience has made me realize that Keith Pierson the man and his dealership does not care about the customer, but whatever they can scam from the customer, including military veterans.

I can speak to that because I'm retired Navy and Keith Pierson wouldn't give me the time of day. If you want professionalism and honesty I would not recommend going to Keith Pierson Toyota.
